Step #1 - Products and services

The best way to make the most money is to sell your very own products and services. It may be easier to sell affiliate products or services, but you won't have any control over these products, and you have to give up a hefty chunk of the commission, which is something you wouldn't have to do with your own products. Things like ebooks, audio/video courses, and consulting are all great products that you can create in very little time and sell for several hundred dollars.

Step #2 - Build traffic

Traffic simply means getting people to your website/business. There are many ways to drive traffic to your website, the free techniques that require some work are often the most effective means of building traffic, and tend to bring in the highest quality of traffic.

Step #3 - Build a list

A list of names and email addresses of people who have shown interest in your products is an essential component of building a successful online business. You can build a list by driving people to a squeeze page and offering them a free gift in exchange for their name and email address. After they are added to your list, you can send emails offering products and services.

Step #4 - Building relationships

This means building a relationship with each person who joins your list. By creating a connection with the people on your list, you can build trust and rapport, which increases the likelihood that someone will purchase your services.
